Design Story
Treeangle began as a quiet response to the mountain itself.

Set on a steep wooded slope in Blue Ridge, GA the cabin was shaped by listening rather than imposing. The terrain determined the form. Elevated on slender wooden columns and concrete footers, the structure lightly touches the earth allowing the forest to remain undisturbed.
Conceived as a biophilic retreat, Treeangle invites nature into every space. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the trees in every season, while natural light moves gently through interiors defined by clean lines and quiet restraint. Nothing competes with the landscape. Here, the mountain is not a backdrop - it is a partner.

Treeangle is a project of The Modern Cabin Company founded by architectural designer Catherine Mock Pageau, MBA, M. Arch. Recognized internationally, including the 2022 International Thermory Design Award, the cabin reflects a commitment to site-responsive design and material integrity.
More than a place to stay, Treeangle is an architectural experience shaped by the belief that the land should lead the design.
